This summer has been especially tough for our friends at Neighbors, Inc. Food Shelf. With school out and grocery prices up, more local families than ever are turning to them for help — and they’re doing everything they can to meet the growing need. But here’s the hard truth: donations are way down, and their shelves are looking alarmingly bare. That’s where we come in.
We’re hosting a Summer Food Drive through August 17, and we need your help to fill the gap. Right now, we’re only collecting food (no monetary donations) — and every can, box, and bag makes a difference.
Their most needed items are: cereal, cooking and baking items, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta and sauces, animal proteins, toilet paper, and laundry pods. Let’s make sure no neighbor goes without. Donations can be dropped off at the tables/bins by the back entrance of the church. Help us bring hope, and full plates, to our community!
