PARISH ADULT CHOIR STARTING SOON!
Our Adult Choir will begin rehearsals on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:30pm in the church. The choir will sing regularly for the 9:00am Sunday Mass, as well as for special liturgies throughout the year. The first “come and see” rehearsal will be on Tuesday, September 16. At this rehearsal, we’ll sightread together and begin working on a variety of music, including chant, traditional hymnody, polyphony, and contemporary sacred music. This evening is a chance to experience what choir is like, meet others, and prayerfully consider whether joining the choir is right for you. We’re especially in need of male voices, and encourage parishioners who enjoy singing to give choir a try. If you play an instrument, please also reach out to see if there may be a way to share your musical gifts with the parish. For more information, please contact Peter Brown, Director of Music, at 651.263.8433 or at [email protected].
