MEN'S SUMMER BIBLE STUDY Looking to grow deeper in your faith this summer alongside other Catholic men? We’re forming a Summer Bible Study for men in their 20s–40s! Together, we’ll reflect on the upcoming Sunday readings and Gospel through a mix of Lectio Divina, discussion, and Bible study. WOMEN’S SUMMER BIBLE STUDY Tuesdays (Next dates: July 28; August 4 & 11) Beginning at 7pm · Rosary Room (inside the Great Room) Women in their 20s–40s are invited to join us as we journey through the Gospel of John. We’ll follow the stories of Mary Magdalene, John the Beloved, and Mary, the Mother of God, as we encounter the life of Christ through one of the most poetic and beautiful books of Scripture. If you’re looking for an intentional way to meet other women from the parish, a way to enter more deeply into Scripture, or even a place that is for you to be filled, we invite you to come. TURN HUNGER INTO HOPE AT FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN Wednesday, July 29 · 5 to 6:30 pm · FMSC (Eagan location) We’re coordinating another food packing event at Feed My Starving Children. FMSC is a non-profit Christian organization where volunteers hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and then the meals are shipped to nearly 70 countries. What a simple way to complete a corporal work of mercy by feeding the hungry! Adults and children ages 5 and up are welcome to participate. Our luncheons are open to all seniors (55+). Casper’s pulled pork, baked beans, chips, coleslaw, bun, fruit, dessert and beverage. Cost: $15/person. AN EVANGELIZATION MINI-COURSE: THREE ORDINARY METHODS TO SHARE AN EXTRAORDINARY MESSAGE August 16, 17, and 18 • 7 to 8:30pm • Great Room Join us for this FREE workshop that will explore what evangelization is, unpack the mission of each Catholic to evangelize, and provide some tools for sharing your faith. Each session will include prayer, teaching, and time for discussion and application. Anyone who is interested in learning how to grow in sharing their faith is welcome to attend! CANTICA AD CAELUM: AN EVENING OF SACRED MUSIC FOR WOMEN’S VOICES Saturday, August 29 · 7:00pm · Saint Joseph Catholic Church (Main Church) Join us for an inspiring evening of sacred music featuring beautiful performances by talented young vocalists! The concert will begin with solo performances by Abigail Dawydenko-Johnson, Ruken Baştimar, Josephine Barstad, and Genevieve Almendinger. The second half of the evening will feature ensemble pieces performed by women’s voices. The program will also include beloved sacred works by Handel, Mozart, Bach, Dvořák, and many others. The evening will also include the world premiere of Memorare, a new composition by our very own Director of Music, Peter Brown. Come experience a beautiful night of prayerful music, outstanding artistry, and joyful celebration with these gifted singers! This event is completely free and open to everyone! A free-will offering will be taken to help offset costs and to fund future concerts.
