Looking for a festive way to support our local Cub Scouts this Christmas season? Cub Scout Pack 198, chartered by Saint Joseph Catholic Church, is once again selling fresh Christmas wreaths! Wreaths will be available for pickup around Thanksgiving, making them perfect for adding some Christmas cheer to your home just in time for the season. MEN'S SUMMER BIBLE STUDY
Looking to grow deeper in your faith this summer alongside other Catholic men? We’re forming a Summer Bible Study for men in their 20s–40s! Together, we’ll reflect on the upcoming Sunday readings and Gospel through a mix of Lectio Divina, discussion, and Bible study. Whether you’ve studied Scripture for years or are just getting started, all are welcome. Dates/times will be finalized soon (we will meet on Monday or Thursday evenings). Interested? The Rescue Project is an experience of the gospel surrounded by conversation, food, and prayer that seeks to proclaim the gospel in a compelling and attractive way over eight weeks in a small group format. This experience is imbued with beauty, authentic humanity, and accompaniment. This event is open to anyone and everyone (high school age and up)! Whether you’ve been walking with Jesus for years, or only see Jesus as a figure in ancient history, you are welcome. Best of all, this is FREE to attend! Please join us for parish-wide, family-friendly fellowship and prayer at our first Emmaus event of the school-year! Hosted by the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus, there will be games for all ages beginning at 3:00 pm, followed by Holy Hour with Sung Vespers at 4:00 pm (childcare provided for children ages 6 and under!), and a free dinner at 5:00pm. You’re invited to join fellow parishioners as part of 40 Days for Life campaign – 40 days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. You’re also invited to stand and peacefully pray during this 40-day vigil on the sidewalk outside the Planned Parenthood in Saint Paul. Please join us for an hour (ideally at least two people each hour). Register outside the Adoration Chapel or online at sjwsp.org/40-days.

Join Father Luke for an exploration of the Catholic understanding of the Four Last Things, preparing for a happy death, and planning your funeral (or at least getting some things in place). This might all sound heavy, but it will be a morning filled with hope. All young adults are invited to join us for volleyball every Sunday evening this summer! We’ll start around 6:30pm in the soccer field by the back lot (next to the rectory) and end with Night Prayer in the main church around 8:15pm.
