Pentecost Party 2026

Following the 11:00am Mass

All are invited to join us as we celebrate the “birthday” of the Catholic Church with a Family Picnic out on the front lawn of the church and school! Come for delicious food, the amazing fellowship, fun games, a big birthday cake, and more. Invite a friend! We look forward to seeing you. No RSVP needed, but we encourage donations to help cover the cost of the great resources and community events that we want to be able to offer ($5/person and $20/family).

SEEKING SAUCES!
At Pentecost, we remember how the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles in “tongues as of fire,” gathering the Church from many peoples into one. In that spirit, we invite you to share something of your own heritage or simply something that you love to cook. Do you have a favorite BBQ or sandwich sauce from across the globe? Is Chipotle Adobo your specialty? Or do you lean toward Lechon? Have a penchant for Peri Peri? We’re preparing tables of 20 sauces for our Pentecost Party and we’re seeking just four or five volunteers to contribute a batch to feature. We’ll provide the jars (one quart and one pint), you provide the sauce. Not every offering need match the full intensity of Pentecost’s flames, although Christ Himself said, “I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing” (Luke 12:49), so for the bold we’re not shying away from ghost peppers entirely either! • Setting up food tables, sauce tables, the cake table and beverages
• Serving food & beverages
• Game Area Volunteer
• Take down and clean up.
